This weeks review: The Mold Next to my Sink
The mold next to my sink
Jesse (JW) blames me for the mold between our sink and bath tub because I used
to throw the empty toilet paper tubes in that general vicinity. He claims
moisture from the shower caused the tubes to mold and the mold spread to the
wall. I don't believe him, because I'm pretty sure the mold was already there,
but that my habit with the TP tubes just made it worse was all. Attempts to
scrub the mold away have resulted in the depletion of our dry wall, as the mold
is firmly attatched to the low income housing material which keeps us slightly
safer from the elements than the common nylon tent or wind breaker. We tried
spraying vinegar on it because we heard that helps, but I noticed no change.
The picture does not do it justice, as it was taken after I scraped away the
beard like growth it developed. I complain now, but eventually I will most
likely name it and treat it well, for we cannot have pets and I'm too poor to buy a real plant. I need something to name and pamper.
Mold next to the sink final grade: D+
